(Update 2011 Mobile Museum of Art: Curator of Education, adult programs)..from
2007: Hello, Welcome to my UDL course blog.
I'm not the type to write much "about me" but it looks as though we have to for the assignment.
I'm an Ed.M. student at HGSE in the Mind, Brain, and Education program (MBE). In addition to UDL and HT100 (MBE core course), I'm taking MCB80 Neurobiology of Behavior in the yard. I'm also doing an FEP internship with VSA Arts of Massachusetts (VSAM). Enough acronyms for one introduction.
I have a background in elementary education, art, education administration, and museum education. Someday I'd like to be either a cross-country truck driver or run my own business offering MBE and arts-related professional development workshops for educators. Or a dancer in Vegas. In the mean time, I'll probably find work in a brain lab (or an art museum), but if anyone has any contacts that involve a high salary, part-time work, a tropical climate and regular spa packages, I'm interested in networking with you.

And now you will blog forever more?
I like happily ever after stories!
Very nice - Darby. Short, sweet, and to the point! : )
Darby, perhaps poetry will come into your universal design project... ;-)
